You know that one command that everyone uses while WE mining?

You know, /trash?

Where the heck does it all go?



Welcome to Trashworld.

whenever someone uses the /trash command, a chest is created in this world with the items you trashed as its contents.

obviously, items trashed by admins and mods won't go here because spawned items would appear hear for any old user to stumble across.

I was thinking Trashworld could be accessed only by certain ranks and/or for a price in vT.

That's pretty epic. Would take a lot more work than just typing a command and getting a random list of discarded items. (a good thing)

I like it but wonder how we'd code such a thing... for random chest placement

Hmmm...
1. predefined chest locations
2. when the chest is made, do a check to find another chest within 2 blocks. if there's a chest nearby, repeat. if it fails the check 20 or so times, start placing chests in a new area.
3.when a chest is about to be made, do kind of a selection inversion on the existing checks. make a small box out of glass around all the chests and place the chest.

This would be a good start, perhaps pay a small fee to use a command that lets you access it. For users, this would be great for them because of all the cobble us goldies and Super Vip's throw out!

Trash is trash. /trash is supposed to replace a lava incinerator or similar device. Stuff you throw into lava doesn't magically go to a land of chests. This seems like a waste of server memory.

Perhaps the command should be /treasureland or /treasure or /trashland!

Do you mean the /trash command or the command to get there? i DO agree we probably SHOULD have a command other than /warp to get there, to warn people of a fee, unless the admins can easily implement a warning into /warp.

I ment /treasureland was the warp, also perhaps you would spawn in a room, then click on a sign for entry. It would be neat if you could make sign warps, if you click on the sign, you pay a amount and get teleported to the area.
