Mod the server to allow Nether Warts to grow in the main world

According to the Minecraft Wiki Page Nether warts can only be grown in the Nether, If possible I think it would be cool to make it possible to grow them in the main world for future farming.

Why not just make a nether wart farm in the nether? Sure, it wouldn't be a lot, but basically the same concept as freebuild.

Because It could leave the warts susceptible to being harvested by others

It would be nice to have nether wart farms in the Main World. On the topic, are we able to place water in the nether?

Adding onto this, perhaps if you can't get them to grow outside the nether, would it be possible to make it so that you can use bonemeal to grow them instead?

The average time you'd have to stay in the nether to completely grow a wart is 15 min

Also, why would you make a nether wart farm in nether if the nether gets reset once in a while.
