It's okay, I thought this was a pretty ridiculous ban too. You're not alone.

The only reason it's a bit lengthy is him literally asking me to be staff on his server. Enticing people by promising a staff position is a big no no.

But he never specified an IP. He only asked you to be staff. There should be no reason for a ban. It's called advertising, not intent to advertise, or merely asking if someone can be staff. However, intent to might be a valid reason, but he did nothing of the sort.

Well, look we all make mistakes, but when you joined "no advertising other servers" was a clear rule on the rules board. I understand it is not a clear advertisement but still asking people to go on another server still has the same goal as advertising, to get them to go on another server. Also he is already staff here so I doubt many people would want to double up server responsibilities. So it is up to staff if you will be unbanned early but try to not do it again. Since I am sure you want to enjoy Innectis to it's fullest.

More than a few people have already asked me to be staff on their servers. I refuse because to do that would be to lend a pretty good responsibility to those servers, when I already have this.

Also we need to do something about this. What Jason did really should result in a warning the first time. If it was a direct IP/domain or he did this act more than once, then yeah, a ban could be justified.

Theres nothing wrong with this. This is the same as someone coming up to you and saying if you want to be the Owner of Microsoft AND Apple. But your already the Owner of Samsung. There's nothing wrong and nothing was done wrong. Its like working 2 jobs. If no IP was mentioned, then there is no justification for a ban.
