Back on IDP with Minecraft 1.6.4

Well the time on vanilla was well spent, but hardly anyone goes on anymore, that's why I decided to move back to 1.6.4.

Now you may be hearing that people are able to log onto bukkit servers on 1.7.2. That's false. They run a modded server called spigot that's actually a modification of a bukkit server that uses a protocol hack. What this means is that the server is tricking the client into thinking it is a 1.7.2 server when it's just really a 1.6.4 server allowing 1.7.2 clients to connect. This is not very well supported and can cause clients to crash, and even worse things. That's why I choose not to support something like this.

Anyways, I hope we get more players this way than we are currently getting with the current server.

The Vanilla could have worked, but the first day on it, ruined it for most. A few of the "bad seeds" so to speak, from the previous Innectis used it as a chance to do everything they could not do on the server before. Also, when new people joined, they were either A, joining them, or B, were targeted. I hope with this, all that can be put behind us and new people can join the server without those worries. Also, I am especially hoping that some of those who were forced to "rage out" can come back.
(Expanding this so I won't go post crazy) @Eggnaug Some people though, were literally killed at the spawn when the joined as well. That is not really preventable.
