Renaming wolves and cats

I think it would be cool if we could rename our tamed animals now that it is possible to rename mobs in 1.5

You should have redmined that Egg! I agree, this is a most excellent feature request.

Lol, I always post my suggestions here first just to see if others would like it too. And yeah I knid of forgot to mention that suggestion to you a few weeks ago.

Hmm.. Although a pet that follows players around would stand out a little more..

Maybe let us name villagers too?

Because we haven't updated yet, we are still waiting on a Bukkit build, but I think its possible to get this done before hand.. To filter something is just run it through a check.

Just use a similar code like the prefix command. You can't avoid filters with prefixes.
