It was my understanding that they all were impersonating staff, as well as advertising "underground" on Innectis for some time. Although you may want to check that chat logs just to see if this is true.

(Just search the chat logs for the IP on their server, and see who has said it over the last few weeks)

He also says he didn't do it, but he was all defensive and was asking suspicious questions

Seems kinda obvious to me. I'd like to see anyone successfully object to jtp not being the blame now. :P

Edit: I wasn't trying to be mean or anything, I'm just trying to prove jtp is innocent and him being banned for something he had NOTHING to do with is not the kind of fairness I love/d about innectis.
