Survival isn't real life. MineCraft isn't real life. Implying that something can happen to you in real life has no relevance to a cartoon sandbox video game.

True, but part of survival is fending for yourself (guess that would make guest mail boxes redundant)

We added protection to various blocks / lots due to the fact that players feel safe if their buildings and items are safe from others. This would just end up in chaos as people would start stealing, and that's not fair.

How do you mean? The system is specifically for giving a certain inventory of ender chest per world (so far, there's just one for freebuild, and then one for the rest of the worlds) which does not include contents on a rank basis. The system would have to be re-written to incorporate separate inventories of a rank basis.
