Try not getting lost? I'm pretty sure that the point of the Nether is to make it a challenge :P

Just wait till the next update. 1.9 netherrack stone. people will start to collect netherrack like crazy.

The whole idea behind nether is to be challenging. You should not even ask a mod for a bailout because they shouldn't give it to you. There are two very simple ways to get out of the nether:
1) Kill yourself
2) Bring obsidian + flint. Make a portal. Srsly.

There is a risk using /kill. Usually worth it. Its not a safe idea to always us obby and flint. too many portals can cause lag, but since reszone and nether do get reset. not a problem

I think there should be a command to warp out of the nether but at a COST of somthing such as 10 Obby or 10 Diamonds

Portals do not create lag. Client-side lag, maybe.

Ever since we implemented the Nether we have made it clear that its suppose to be a hostile & dangerous place. It adds an extra something to the game, and makes the resources there that much more difficult to obtain.
