What I think he means is the CoD version of this.

2 teams, one attacking one defending.

No respawns.

1 team tries to capture 2 points.
the other team tries to defend it.

Rounds have a time limit, when limit expires or all attackers are down -> defenders win.
If both points captured or all defenders down -> attackers win.

Very Good!!! CoD makes my laptop (Which has had 5 Blue Screens) look like a MacBook.

Hey, what are your guys thoughts on an ever lasting game? Something that will keep going, and you can join any time? Your team cannot change, so when you are first (randomly) put into a team, you stay in that team? And the game can never end? The game would be possible to play on your own, yet become harder.. and the more players you have, the easier the game becomes.

An idea I had would be something along these lines:

  • Mobs randomly spawn, killing a mob drops 1 gold nugget.
  • When a player dies, they drop all their gold nuggets, they can be stolen by other teams.
  • Classes are 'dependent', meaning they are weak unless 2 different classes work together.
  • Every 100 nuggets a player has, you can use them at some kind of central shrine to score your team 1 point
  • There are random power ups and bonuses that can be found or dropped by 'boss' monsters.

The idea of random teams is to prevent the more powerful and more skilled from ganing up onto one side, and due to the method that I would use to choose teams, it would not be possible to switch teams. As for the max limit, why would you limit the game to only a certain amount of players? That just seems pointless, if you are reffering to making them join the other team when there are a certain amount of playes on, then that would be unfair as the teams should be balanced anyway. That is the equivilent of loaning the enemy your army during a war. The idea is that anyone can join at any time, so inactive players wouldn't matter as there would be more players..

Everyone wouldn't be able to join 1 'Super Team' because they would not get a choice.. That is what I am trying to explain, the teams will be randomly split, and you would stay in those teams. The method used to generate your team would be a random number based upon your name, meaning that its always the same every time you logged in, you would have no choice in which team you join. As for 'dead' teams, I don't think this will occur, because of it being random, the odds are that it will split all Innectis players 50/50, as well as this there is a large number of players on Innectis so I doubt 1 team will ever be 'dead', however we are extreamly unlucky, then I can add something to re-randomise the teams.

Gah, I never voiced my opinion on things that you do. Item spells are a bit lame as well.. I don't even use them. You have elaborate plans for things, and love to put lots of things into action!

I actually think the classes make domination a bit more interesting >.>.....

And I've seen a few of the Item spells, are couple a pretty neat just to mess around with.
