Giving Mods the ability to place water/lava without being lot allowed

It's very agitating for mods to have to wait for a person to lot allow them in order to help place water/lava. I think it would be easier to let mods have the power to place water/lava without the need for lot allowing.

what if when all lots are made that all admins/mods are lot allowed so that there is no need for fuss or anything?
because I dont see any of our mod/admins griefing someone...

Yeah, if mods are allowed to place water/lava, they might as well be allowed to place everything else. Since they can grief with water/lava too....

I don't understand the point of just being able to place water/lava only, thats kinda of strange, and with no ability to pick up if makes a mistake? However I am unclear why this idea is needed, mods shouldn't really come along and edit some peoples lots without permission from the owner to do so..

Perhaps mods should be given other abilities though. This idea would have helped, but would open up another issue of why not allow them to place everything else?

If you don't trust them, don't make them a mod. I don't see why in any universe you wouldn't trust someone YOU PUT in that power.

The whole idea behind the lot protection is that somebody can't modify your lot without you knowing.

A looong time ago, we decided that it would be better to avoid conflicts to not allow mods to edit lots without permission.
We have had moderators in the past who went on a griefing spree.

Anyway that said we could add something to provide temp access to a lot?

Like /help <player> for the mod, where the player gets a question if you allow him. When accepted he gets access on the lot your on for a period of time?
