I'd just like to see a forum section for planned events and such. I don't know exactly where an event fits in in either announcements or general.

I would also like this, so that users can post their events there too.

Offical events are normally posted in announcements,
Depending on what the admins think will depend if I add it ;)

Yeah that's official events, but what if a user wants to host an event? And please don't add to a thread if you're just going to quote someone and not say anything...
