They have been banned 8 days, not only for abusing a broken feature, but also for harrassing a user, even if that user was not on at the present time.

Guys, if a feature is broken, please DO NOT abuse it.

I was lucky I had hard evidence to back this...

@guineaman56: You were also involved a little bit, since you found out it was broken. That's a warning in text. Please do not do this again.

How does one harass a user that is offline? It can't offend someone if s/he doesn't see it.
