I would like to see a way to +1 or say Thank You on forum posts, for agreement with what someone says without having to post I agree.

It would also help clean up forum postings a bit.

I'm not asking for a karma mod though, which allows negativity. I don't want to see that; if there's going to be a negative post, just don't +1 it.

Also, I'm not referring to Google Plus by using +1 posts, though that may work if it has to be implemented manually (check google's API on that).

Heck, I'd go for a total karma system. Some dumb posts must be thumbed down to voice my displeasure.

This system seems to rate the poster and not the specific post. Also, "rate" is misspelled. The current system ought to be changed to "Rate This User" or something like that. What this thread suggested, however, was a rating for the individual post.

There should be a thumbs up or down like you-tube and the more thumbs up, the higher on the forum list it should be.
