Title: Lock all ban threads?

Ok, looking at most people's ban threads, there's huge arguments about them.
Why can't you just lock the thread before anyone posts?
Problem solved.

Freedom of speech pretty much. We allow people to comment on threads, and only until there is arguing do we lock them. Not all threads have arguing in them so we are loose about this.

Its a good question, so why is it I had to complain just to get a ban thread, let alone have it unlocked..

Seperate "Ban Apeals" section anyone? Only staff can post in Bans section to avoid arguments, and people can still apeal through the other section.

The other players are able to comment on ban threads to state what happened to them in incidents of people harassing them and others. and other situations that are relevant to the ban thread.

Granted. In order to continue our dictatorship, we will lock all ban threads as soon as they are made.

Florfy5 used Nuzzle on TheReasoning for locking the thread before Nosliw could appeal!
