Title: Torn between two communities

Around the same time Hret left Innectis and I took over, I also had the opportunity to code a minigame system for a different community. I felt honored to do this and thought that I would perform brilliantly. I developed a relationship with the owner and his network guy. We would plan via Skype on how to do various things for the community, then I would go off and code stuff. Things were looking brilliant.

However, there was a problem, and I knew it was there later on. My time and focus was spent on personal hobbies more than it really was Innectis and this community. However, I ended up doing more work in this community than I ever have at a previous job writing a plugin for a different community owner. However, the obvious lack of focus on Innectis and this community showed through when I finally left the community. I had a sudden re-invigoration for Innectis and could finally focus entirely on it again. I joined in August, and left 3 months later in November.

Part of the problem that revolved around the lack of focus was that both Innectis and this other community needed to be brought up from the ground. Unlike Innectis, this community was using BukkitDev plugins to fuel its game repertoire.  So the owner needed a developer. He talked to someone who I became acquainted with in the bukkit community who wanted help with plugins. So, I became a suitable candidate for the owner. That is why I was picked to be a developer, and I went in guns blazing, without giving it much thought.

This is something I shared only with my staff team, and felt like I should explain this to the community as well. My focus is finally on us, and I will work on improving our community, unhindered by large tasks presented from different opportunities, unless those opportunities be from Bukkit or Mojang itself.

Well, there is the story of being torn between two communities.

So? The main point I wanted to make was that for 3 months I wasn't putting the focus into Innectis that I should have.

So? The main point I wanted to make was that for 3 months I wasn't putting the focus into Innectis that I should have.

I believe he means something more along the lines of

"Oh so now you're focusing on Innectis? Awesome!"

Oh we have amazing improvements to existing features as well as exciting future plans for Innectis... you will not be disappointed.

And I can't wait until they are implemented. Some of them are really cool.
