Title: Minecraft 1.5 vanilla

Well, we are nowhere close, and neither is Mojang, from being ready to update to Minecraft 1.5. As a result, we will fall back to vanilla just like we did in Minecraft 1.3.1. Unlike the time then, we will strive to make it a more enjoyable experience for our members.

We hope you all will come away from this second vanilla experience more happy than you were the last time, as we had to deal with some not so pleasant experiences...

Anyways, hopefully we can update IDP within 10 days or so, because as far as I'm concerned, there is nothing we can do, and until 1.5.1 comes out, we're dead in the water. Sorry to have to say that, but hopefully we'll be ready to go as soon as we can.

If Bukkit fixes the painting bug, then we could update. Then again, since we use a custom build of it, we could always figure it out, but that's much more work. :p

Could just temporarily disable placing paintings.

Well it's not so much the placing of paintings, it's the actual paintings already placed.

I have failed to make myself clear...

It has to do with loading already placed paintings.

I can't wait for a Bukkit build personally, I want to play around with scoreboards, if possible :D
