Title: Regarding Old World and It's Removal

This means you have 2 Months to move over anything you wish to keep from old world.

Post by: Vector on February 06, 2013, 06:11:23 PM: I never clarified in the newsletter who "I" was. That's me! I'll be moving lots from now until we're done (whenever I get requests to do it), so that we're prepared for the removal on the 6th of April.

That special thing I talked about, well here's something to think about. I've taken part in only one other event that's kind of like this and it was extra special too. So that is something to look forward to. :P

Although I kinda just cut off part of it in most cases because they havent built on that edge.

As for the warning, thats a decent idea, although by the time we update, it might be much closer to the time that we remove the world..

Not really, since that is our ancestor server, therefore that is the only one in which we can say without being blamed for advertising. I freely use it at will, so I don't think there is an issue with saying it.

Edit: Mentioning the name is fine, I just wouldn't post an IP to an OtakuCraft server.

Because originally there was not an old world. This was mainly to allow people to move their lots over before the world was removed.

Although I do admit that the word OtakuCraft may seem like advertising, it tends to only be used by those who were once a part of that community. Yes, I'm aware that people can google that in and get the IP, but honestly, I would say that that server should be the only exception, because it was a PART of our history. Call me a hypocrite, but if people find the IP due to googling the name, it was because they were curious.

What you're saying is like banishing the very mention of a community that became us.

I see.

Adding exceptions everywhere makes it unfair on people, so I guess we'll just stick with OC. Make sure to warn people if they say the full name...

If you are unsure if your lot is in Old World or Main World, just go to your lot and type /world
This will tell you what world you are in.
