It's basically picking favorites and that is never good for a community.

You would still have to select candidates and not everyone could be a candidate without choosing favorites. Also, the award would show overall favoritism to that person based on the category.

Well Nominations for user council is basically most popular person gets the job. Also, i don't really mind about being ruled out due to i can still help Innectis in over ways.

I'm going to go ahead and say I support this. I'd like to see users recognized for some stuff they do. And Zander does have a point about the how the User Council is no different in choosing favorites. Double standards....

I agree star people should get recognized for their achievements, but not in this way. The awards would be too biased and I see favoritism would happen

Everyone had a chance to nominate. Also being nominated doesn't necessarily mean you get chosen.

Innectis is a friendly enough place with appreciative users. I can only think of a very small amount of people that would be jealous.

But still, there is other ways that people can be recognized for the accomplishments, not this way,

I think a user's hard work comes under more scrutiny than simply the work of staff. Players simply pick who they think is the best moderator. Arguments would only be carried out by the staff, Ideally speaking. If it was picking something that came from the work of users, then users will be the ones fighting.

Makes sense?
