Title: IDP jukebox
Post by: chrisjones23 on September 12, 2012, 06:57:10 PM
every 4 mins IDP shares a music video :D all videos in its list could be submitted by users :P

there should be a toggle command to see it though maybe a request feature ?

just a random idea that popped into my head

I like it, but probably would be hard to pull off.

If this is what I think it is, it could be like the mail system, just links that are approved by staff.
But hey, I suck at programming so a dev would have to say what they think.

As a regular message that sends a link to a music video to all people that have it enabled? Because that is easy to do.. However I don't see the point of it, maybe just make a thread on the forums titled 'Innectis Fav Vids'?

Or maybe once an hour, it pops up in chat a youtube link submitted by users and then that list is compiled into a random chat link?

Perhaps a News plugin that would show new events and other helpful stuff?

the point being that way i'm clicking random videos while im playing im not selecting them its randomized its also more convenient than flicking back and forth between a thread on a separate window and i just just let the video play in the background.

Create or use an existing Youtube playlist? I really see no point to this..

I thought Spotify changed it so you pay per month or something?

Nope, still free with ads. But you have the option to get rid of ads and get more options with a monthly fee.

Oh, cool, didn't know xD
Anyway, get that then, IDP doesn't need to broadcast regular music videos because you don't want to minimise to change a song or something like that :P

but creating a you-tube playlist doesn't randomize nor does it share to everyone on the minecraft server who want to listen XD and spotifys free listen feature now sucks and is limited time now.

Are you sure about this? I've been leaving Spotify on play all day and I'm on the free version.

also this is getting off topic xD

I've been using Spotify and works rather well except for their choice of ads.....
