It could be really helpful if we could make double slaps in the crafting-table.

Would that be possible without the mod API, or would it just be like the thing with minecarts?

Currently you cannot tinyWE single slabs into double slabs (which is annoying). I think double slabs would solve that issue. Perhaps crafting them using half slabs and tinyWEing two half slabs, one a top of the other, could also give you double slabs.

Or perhaps crafting 2 Stacks of single slabs then re-crafting them to give you 32 Double Slabs. Like with wooden doors, you craft a door then re-craft it and get a half door.

If you break a half door you get a full door.

Just do, two slabs in the crafting-table. You would get A double slab.
Add it in WE, so if we remove it we get double slabs again?
Perhaps if we break it we could get, a double slab too.
And if we put the double slab into the crafting-table, we get 2 half slabs? O.o
