Banned 5 days for creating a waypoint trap. The trap consisted of a giant pit to bedrock with an absorb chest at the bottom.

Reason for Ban:

Pits  or deep holes are ugly lookign and hazardous. They will temporarily be  permitted until you can finish what you are doing. Otherwise they must  be filled in ASAP

Your spawn location must not kill or harm players (includes waypoints)

He also made a sign that says ''Free Diamonds in the waypoint, its free''   And also he covered up his trap aswell to try and hide what he did

So he used absorb flag as well. -_-

That's pretty unfortunate... well, hopefully he'll learn his lesson.

That's an amazing troll idea, I love it. That's so creative, I should of thought of it before everyone didn't hate me...

But yes...this is unacceptable. Would you drop someone into a pit IRL and take their wallet? Hopefully not.

SGT_AZD probably went in the waypoint so quickly because of the ''Free Diamonds'' sign xD ???
I think nobody told you to go there it was on your own risk ! :P

Just because people dont tell you to go into the waypoint, people still do, If was a trick for him to get free stuff from people who were none the wiser and afterwards he tried covering it all up, he fully deserves this ban

Do waypoints not check that you are landing on a solid block? That would ensure something like this couldn't happen, and possibly the same with lotspawns?

Surely if you jump through a WP thats your own daft fault lot spawns are a different matter but if your stupid enough to click my trap on my lot. providing your not misleading like the case above it should be fine

The drawback of this would be that lot/waypoint warps would be blocked by simply removing one block underneath, and the fact that it's possible to make nonfatal falling entrances to lots and waypoint locations (i.e. into a swimming pool, etc.).

Threats of fear > restrictions in IDP.

That's why we have our rules. When the rules aren't sufficient enough, restrictions are put in place instead.
