Title: Elevators
Post by: Vector on May 16, 2012, 03:34:28 AM
Elevators are real simple to do. Put [up] on a sign to be teleported up, and [down] to teleport down.

To make this work, the destination needs to have a block for the player to arrive at. It cannot have any dangerous blocks above it, like fire or lava. It can also be 50 blocks from the original elevator, giving you lots of flexibility.

Instead of [IDP] Elevator up! could you have it be something like, Going up! Just seems better to me.

I have seen things like this on other servers as well, but really nice add on with the IDP. Time to go use them.

Updated to include adding "block" on the second line for not requiring a sign at the destination.

Such old post bump.

The "block" line is no longer required. Elevators will only look for a block at the destination.
