Title: Selling items
Post by: Eggnaug on May 02, 2012, 01:02:33 PM
I think it would be a great idea if the shop system was upgraded by adding a way to sell items, not just buy them. There is a blank line on the current shop signs that could easily hold the selling price. A way to go back and forth between buying and selling could be the commands:

/buy
This lets you buy

/sell
This lets you sell

That would give the money pool a infinite thing and bring a lot more money into the community and if someone has hoarded cobble for a long time.. they would be rich. Also it would render Nosliws mall unuseful. Good idea. But sorry it won't help.

You can only buy what they sell, you can only buy til the other person runs out of vT just like in real life where you can only buy with the amount you have, and sell with the amount you have.

True, and like what judged said, if someone hoarded cobble then the person would have to make the decision whether or not to allow them to buy.

This would be entirely the responsibility of the shop owner to decide what they are willing to set buying prices. It's their own fault for selling plus there is a limit to how much a chest can hold.
