the ability to move a WP block using a piston

it would be a good feature for the server and would make some interesting resulting devices and is necessary for the WP roulette game i want to make :P

This wouldn't be very possible as the server recognizes a waypoint by the position, the only reason it is a lapis block is so we know that its a waypoint, the server would not be able to move waypoints as it would  be quite recourcefull deleting and reinserting the information into a database.

Not really. All the waypoints are loaded into memory, and it only takes a query to change a position. It's not really resourceful at all.

This is an idea. What about you guys, hret, lynxy?

While it would be great if implemented correctly, I have a feeling it could cause bugs and/or break current waypoints if not done correctly. But yeah, if done correctly and tested VERY thoroughly I think this would be a good feature.
