The thing about spawn eggs is that they can also be put in dispensers and stuff, so the item itself is alot more flexible and can be used for other things.

If we did allow Spawn Eggs to be used like this, you realize we would still limit where you can place the animal? Eg you can't place it on lots you aren't allowed on. That's basically griefing/harassment

Here's a solution I have: a command to transfer your caught entities to another player. That way, they can dump them off in their lots.

But why do spawn eggs HAVE to be a rare item? I can't think of any serious consequences if they weren't...
