Mob Capture
luetzj:
I was thinking after seeing tons of people waiting for an admin to move their animals, there could be a way to capture the animals via a command like /animal capture and you would get an egg. You would need certain things in your inventory though, like teleporting. You would need like 5 iron ingots, a web (for the "net") and then after you "capture" it, you get an egg to use! Also, you can have it be only passive mobs like sheep, pigs, chickens, etc... That is just my idea and I don't know if it would work, so please comment!
Sciamancer:
YES! But make it pokeballs. trolololo...
An item cost and perhaps another cost (STDs? Vote points?) I really think it should be expensive, perhaps the cost going up for rarer mobs.
I think it should be extended to all mobs, though. Just make sure:
1. Mobs can only be captured outside of lots (reszone, freebuild, nether)
2. Mobs can only be summoned with egg inside of your own lot.
To prevent theft/griefing.

No idea if it's possible but this is a genius idea.

I think it it should not be too expensive, so more people could use it. If you could capture hostile or neutral mobs, they should cost lots more to prevent abuse.(Like spawning a ton of mobs around a building) They should be able to be captured either in your lot, the reszone, freebuild, and nether. But would you rather use vT or use an object? I suppose you can use vT to buy what you need.
Lynxy:
There is already something like this. Not sure how well it works since I don't ever hear of people using it. Try catching an animal with a fishing pole.
