I thought it would be an interesting idea if one were to implement a virtual market. One which would simulate a real market and have a real economy, to make the game more interesting. One would buy in-game "stocks," etc. It would be based on supply and demand. I talked to AlphaBlend about this once. I suppose a good idea would be to implement a system where people could create companies of sorts... ones offering services (such as building for a user, mining, etc), or supplies, stores, etc. The company could be put on the Innectis Stock Exchange, and people could buy and sell stock just like in the real world, but perhaps a more simple version. Companies could compete, even. Stock value would increase or decrease based on supply and demand. Players could potentially profit (or lose) from the market.

I think this feature would really make Innectis stand out to a great extent amongst the other servers. I haven't come across or heard of a minecraft server which has a real market simulation in it.

Just a thought.

I think it would make the game a lot more interesting. What would be so wrong with "idiots on Innectis" messing with a virtual stock market?
