That would be true for a while, but I think people would eventually figure out fair prices for things. They've said that there will be official server shops as well, so I'm guessing that would effectively set fair prices for anything sold in those shops.
I'm more concerned about them constantly changing the supply of money and devaluing the currency over time.

If there's a server shop, the money supply will gradually dwindle, so there will need to be some sort of supply for new currency. Inflation and deflation occur naturally and are unavoidable but can be controlled so we get small periods of inflation/deflation and not massive ones nor a constant inflation/deflation of any kind.
That being said, I think a server shop is an excellent idea because it will set the value of the currency. Without this, how does one determine a fair price? If there is no reason for the currency to be worth one diamond over one dirt, there is no reason for anyone to agree on its worth.

You could have a system where you can attain money by killing mobs in the reszone only. The reason for reszone only is so that no one can use a mob trap to rack up money. For example, Nosliw's xp farm would become a mint. That's not good. Since the reszone resets, you cant really make mobs traps that last.

This would only work if they frequently change the amount of money you get per kill, otherwise the admins aren't controlling in the influx of money into the economy but rather the players are.
