Another mod election has come our way

Well it's official. We're going to kick off another mod election, but this time there's a twist to it. Through the last few public mod elections we've had where players voted in who they wanted to be staff, it seemed like there was a kind of popularity contest to it all. There were other problems with that method, such as rigged votes and other things. Things we didn't want in a public event like that, so we were figuring out how we could best involve the community in these matters.

That's why we're going to try something new, and hopefully this sticks for future mod elections. So I want to start off with a question. What qualities are you looking for when it comes to staff members?

We'll leave this open for awhile and then we'll let you know when we are ready to move on with the next step.

Active players for each/most time zones. It would be great to have mods that are based in Europe, Australia, Asia etc. then just the USA.

Some of these staff members aren't as active as they should be

Lot of the times I've been on, there's been very few people except for randoms I didn't know, and no mods online..

Well since I was selected by chance way back when I guess I can put a bit of input.

A big thing is being active on the server. As well you have to not let people get to you. Honestly when I was mod a lot of things got to me, mostly I could not help it but it did. Even now I am still not 100% and I have not been for like 8 months (improving but still not there). Also I had some things which kind of pushed me back. So if we were able to say that we wanted to be mod in a "later step" I would have to REALLY think about it if I would.
