The problem was that NoCheat's LOS checks kept getting in the way. I looked a few times to see if I could tweak that but didn't find the setting. So honestly NoCheat's is more strict than ours, and it wasn't ours that was the problem, since whenever I stumble across blocks that should be exceptions I do add them to our list.

Then disable NoCheat's LoS, or set it to Warning only.. There is no need to have 2 plugins running the same checks.
