Diamond detector?

So you know how you can do /locate and your compass can find someone? (I.E. /locate Nicolethenikki [IDP] Compass set to Nicolethenikki.) Well, how about if you go mining you can do /diamonds and [IDP] can tell you to go deeper and if you're in the right level, the compass will direct you right to diamond ore.

Mining for diamonds is easy enough as it is, without seeing something that will tell you their location.. This is unlikely to happen, especially if it doesn't cost anything..

Once tinyWE is fixed and working properly, I'm sure that many goldies would be willing to help you out, for a fair price. Being able to mine out over 2000 blocks at a time makes it easy for them to find diamond.

Nicole....You stole this idea from iHasCupquake. YOU PHONY! (Jk you're pretty awesome, just she did mention this in her video like 2 days ago)
Personally I don't see the point in this, it just makes mining too quick and easy, not to mention ores would be worth nothing. Of course atm ores can be obtained in a matter of minutes but this would take it down to a point where they aren't worth anything due to being able to get them in like 20 seconds. (20 seconds is exaggeration I don't actually mean exactly 20 seconds)

As much as I would love instant access to a bucket load of diamonds... It would just ruin the game!

It would take away going to reszone with a couple of other members and looking for an hour of so for everything you need!

Might as well just play creative cause it would be just as easy to get ores!
