What Skye says was right but I agree, I think we should have a poll open to Goldies.

I agree with Skye as well, but it is just that it doesn't seem to make much sense that most of the inventory items are saved, but none of the backpack items are.

The fact of a backpack is a bonus, yet to limit it, there has to be a risk or drawback. At the time of its creation, it felt a little overpowered and so it was made so that you lose all of the items within it, this was to balance it out a bit.

Ha, I like backpacks as they presently are. It's a challenge to hold onto your items this way.
