He donated before and without the special bonus incentive that Nosliw promoted. Better than doing it just for the bonus. He did it with no expectations.

If you donate for someone in exchange for vT, this is not being generous, and you do not get the special bonus.
If you pay someone else in vT for them to donate for someone, this again does not count.

You are donating in exchange for vT, its not a gift if they pay for it..
