Thanks for the suggestion though! I'm not sure how we can improve the current system to be better suited to this kind of thing.

It's kind of a good idea in some aspects but not possible without either flaws or exploitations personally I didn't get to pick my lot neither did my friends and we all would have liked to live near each other there WERE empty lots around my lot because I was first out of my group of friends to join and enough of them too but soon they filled up and we never got to pick :( I would love to live near mUSICkAT and Ali but luckily I live near dynamic_darkhead my friend Toby

The current /getlot command for giving 30x30 lot areas is as close assigning yourself full on lots will get, there was however talk about giving Goldy VIP the ability to create themselves sublots on their own lot (with restrictions), I'm not sure where that thought went. The current situation works fine however, simply ask a moderator/admin directly, or send a staff request with the /staffrequest command.
