Here on Innectis we do need some rules. Most of then are basic values everyone should have, so it shouldn't be hard to follow. When not clear on a dispute, the staff has the last word.
These rules apply to the account breaking the rules, not the player. That means if someone else gets on your account and breaks a rule, you are still responsible.

Play Nice
Respect other players and their creations. Give them the same courtesy that you yourself want. We all are playing for fun, let's keep it that way!

Chat Abuse
Do not spam the chat. Do not use foul or offensive language as we have young souls playing on this server. Abbreviations are fine, however. In any dispute against what is "foul", the staff will have all authority in the decision, as well as the length of your ban. Another abuse of this rule includes posting questionable content (NSFW content, sites that promote heavy violence, pornographic sites, etc.)

No Griefing
Griefing means destroying or 'messing up' another users work. Blocks constructed in freebuild are protected under the griefing rule. If subjected to damage, the user will face the same punishment as griefing a lot. Minor cases of griefing will result in a warning, major cases will result in a ban. Griefing counts as the following...
- Building or destroying a block that is part of a lot you are NOT allowed on. If you are a member of the lot, then it is considered griefing when the owner asks you not to do something and you do it anyway.
- Building structures outside someone elses lot to purposely interrupt or change the on-goings inside the lot. As long as you are building within your lot, this shouldn't be a problem
- Harassing users, either verbally or physically (following them around, PvP ganking, placing/destroying blocks around them, etc)
- Purposely abusing a bug, exploit, or mod to gain an unfair advantage over another player
- Eating cake or other edible items is NOT considered griefing

Lot Rules
- Your spawn location must not kill or harm players
- Pits or deep holes are ugly looking and hazardous. They will temporarily be permitted until you can finish what you are doing. Otherwise they must be filled in ASAP
- You cannot have more lots than your rank is allowed. Your lots also cannot be larger than your rank allows

Lot Member Abuse
You are not allowed to "give" or "rent" a lot out to any user that would violate their rank's lot restrictions. For example, you have a 150x150 lot that you never use, so you /lotallow a Normal rank user and tell them they can build on it and that you won't touch it. This essentially GIVES them that lot even though it violates their rank's restrictions (a single 50x50 lot). However, as long as you remain active and in control of your lot, you can lotallow members with a lesser rank. Do not try to circumvent or find loopholes in this rule. You know what is right and wrong, and so does the staff.

Abusing Bugs
All bugs should be reported to a moderator or admin. If a user exploits or abuses a bug which allows them to gain a advantage over another player, access a area they are not allowed to be in or gain items they are not suppose to have they may be subject to ban. We appreciate you telling us, and often the results of abusing the bug are a lot less severe if you cooperate with us.

Abusing Lot Boundaries
Certain actions are available depending on the lot, for example PvP. You are not to abuse these lot boundaries, for example sitting outside a lot and killing players. Water and lava do not flow in to or out of lots to prevent griefing. You are not allowed to use this 'flow block' to restrict movement of water or lava inside your lot.

Harassment
Harassment is where a user 'bullies' another user by calling them names or purposely trying to irritate them. Arguments are different than harassment, where in arguments both users will be punished if they do not stop when asked. Minor cases of harassment will result in a kick/mute. Major cases may result in a ban.

Altering Gameplay to your advantage
Anything that helps you play the game to your advantage is not allowed. This includes client mods and external programs that allow you to perform actions that are not possible within the vanilla experience. Examples of this include x-ray mods, auto clickers, fast clickers, speedhacks, waypoint mods, and illegal block placement hacks just to name a few. Client mods that enhance the UI are ok, like Rei's minimap, HD textures, lighting fixes, etc. Texture packs are fine with the exception of xray. This rule also extends to misusing features that were given to staff that you indirectly had access to and used to your own advantage.
There is an exception to fast clickers such that you may use mods that can arrange your inventory.
10.
No Advertising
Do not advertise other servers, we are not an advertisement board.
11.
In regards to other players' accounts
Do not play on another person's account if at least one of the following is true:
1) The user is a rank higher than you (If you don't have minecraft, don't use an account greater than User)
2) The user is a staff member
3) One or more of your accounts have been banned.
This makes it ok to play on someone elses account, to help them do stuff.
12.
Do not spoof messages from other players, or IDP
This is very misleading. What I mean by this in the first place is to create a special message where the second part appears on a new line, which has another player's, or IDP's tag on it. This can be real annoying for players. It will be treated the same as any other rule being broken.
NOTE: If you see a player breaking the rules, please use the Report Player board to report the incident.
