Waypoints on mods like "Rei's Minimap" are fine, the waypoints in the mod _Angelwings_ used supposedly lets you teleport to them, which is against the rules because it gives you an unfair advantage.

As a rule of thumb, if it gives you an unfair advantage over other players, its not allowed :)
