Spiders/skeletons have a rare percentage of spawning as a spider jockey so maybe we can have zombies spawn as a giant.

As a rare chance? I'm not to sure.. Giants are real tough, and its hard to hit their collision box for some reason.. However they will be in fort World as soon as the server updates :)

Lol. Easiest way to kill Giants are with fire arrows and splash potions.

No, and won't for at least a week, or hopefully less. I have 12 things to do before we update, some being crucial things.

So, rest assured, the update is going to be huge like our last update was.

Also, I like this idea, but we need to come up with some more criteria than just allowing them to spawn anywhere.

Have them spawn near villages (some distance near a testificate).

I like that idea, but unfortunately I don't know how to detect if a village is nearby. I mean, villagers can detect this, so I ought to look at how minecraft does it, and then replicate it.

Steve was having a nice day trading with the villagers, but then a shadow crossed over him. As he looked up he almost fainted with fear. IT WAS A GIANT!
