With the 1.8 update I added recipes to uncraft all the new doors (birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak). And they are all changed to a return value of 2 planks of the specified wood type instead of 6, because crafting the doors yields 3 doors instead of one.

I didn't add an uncrafting recipe for iron trapdoors. Should I?

Edit: Scratch that, there isn't a recipe for wooden trapdoors. I don't need to add them, unless people think otherwise.

Probably should, but you should only get 3 planks/iron per trapdoor uncrafted since it costs 6 to make 2.

de-craftable armor.. for all the useless armor drops you get from mobs..
