Armor stand?

Would it be possible for us to be able to show off our armor in a case? Like it's floating in there, but it dosen't vanish? Would that even be possible? Or maybe right clicking a block with the armor in your hand attaches it to the block?

This sounds kinda cool.  You could also make it that you jump through it and your armored up already.
