/combineharvester Idea!

Me and nosliw were discussing about random stuffs on the way to school and saw a tractor!

We had the idea of turning your charector into a combine harvester!

This would be a goldie or super command and would allow you to harvest and plant wheat within a 2 block radius of your charector depending if you have seeds in your inventory


So what do you think

I like it. What would be required to do so..? Eg would it cost vT, or some exp?

Checking nearby blocks around you every time you move is a laborious process for the CPU, what is stopping people from keeping this combine on? Sure we could make it timeout after a few minutes but what if they just keep toggling it on? If it actually costs something to toggle on, people wouldn't keep it on for the heck of it...

Possibly 1 VT a second?

60 seconds = 60 VT ect

Or possibly charge a set fee of 100VT but if it is used for the purpose it has you get 25VT back?

Or maybe 320vT but for every seed it plants you get 5vT back (up to 320 max)

Or you could make some item like coal as fuel and it uses coal instead of vT?

I like this idea, and it would be overused if it was free, people would abuse it constantly because it is free, what if the price for it was eg: 100vt per harvest?

I will add this to our redmine. Seems like a good enough idea, and it may work well.

It will be a command you can use which will harvest the wheat, and hand it to you, then plant the wheat. It will have a max range of probably 10 blocks or so.

I would prefer coal over vT. More practical.
