I like this idea , but keep it in main world only. Perhaps this could be a SuperVIP + feature (since only SuperVIP + can use /tp )

This is a mod ability, and i think will stay that because it is used to get passed doors or virtually get anywhere with cords. Would cause disaster for those who hate people on their lot

There is a lovely command call /lotban

Getting pass doors is not a problem since only lot members can use furnaces (which use to be the main reason people had iron doors on lots)

I like the idea, but you should be able to set a lot flag like NoCordTp to prevent this.

It would defeat survival virtualy being able to go ANYWHERE.

You have a point. The three main lot areas are on the far left, middle, and far right of the map, so really if you needed to go somewhere you could just walk from a lot area.

No, because you can go anywhere, including in rooms with locked doors, like Judged said.

@luetzj: NoTeleport flag would prevent that. :)

This would work very well in the Aether though that way you don't have to build your way to islands. You could just island hop. And it doesn't really affect the survival aspect because there are no mobs in Aether. You can currently only die by PvP, falling, burning, drowning, and dig dugged.

Egg, the Aether still has lots on it, and players might have locked doors.

And personally I don't see that much benefit to doing this on worlds where it would seem like it could be allowed.

There is no benefit to locked doors in the Aether. Only people who are lot allowed can use people furnaces and chest allowed can only open chest. There are no mob farms and having a default flag that does not allow players to enter lots would help.

(I don't really think this feature is necessary or that useful)
