Well, I have a few suggestions for FAIL BOT (Tired of spell-check giving me the RED SQUIGGLY UNDERLINE-- It's annoying).
One, a Flag system (Shortcut for commands)
Two, a limit system (I believe Vector made one for AM, haven't tested the new script yet-- I think)
Three, make it like they plan Stealth Bot 3.0-- Bare bones such as Access, who am I, who is, trigger, and owner commands (I could think of a few more, but those are just basic, NON-OPS commands) triggers. The rest should be implemented by a plug-in or scripting system (using existing STEALTH BOT AND FOOL OPS scripting capabilities. [This would add one line to each script heading: Stealth Bot or Fool Ops. Stealth Bot would mean it would use the Stealth Bot plug-in system; Fool Ops would mean it would use the Fool Ops scripting system.]){ If you feel that you can mimic them-- If you can, Fail Bot > Stealth Bot }
Four, more media support (IE: Windows Media Player, Quick Time Player, etc...) in the bot, via future scripting system or built in commands.
Five, Internal Clan Rank System
Example Media Players Fail Bot Should Support
WA = Winamp
WMP = Windows Media Player
QTP = QuickTime Player
Itunes = Itunes[/li]
I realize suggestions three and four are... for lack of words... b***h to make, but think of this: For those sorry asses who don't use Winamp, or have a keyboard re-mapper, you just made their lives easier by making a bot that can use multiple media programs.
As for THREE, I realize IT WILL BE HARD, but the fact that it will be able to do Stealth Bot scripts and Fool Ops scripts would out weigh even the shittiest screw up. I mean seriously, a few scripts added into Fail Bot (which is so far coming along nicely) would be a step at making one of the best bots around. And to have the scripting capabilities of both bots would make lives much easier... [Exaggeration]think of all the possibilities and new scripts that could come of it. Seriously, for users of both bots, they might be tempted at trying it, and if they are sold (like) the product, then you may convert them to your bot.[/Exaggeration]
And finally, an internal clan rank system, or ICRS, would be perfect for clans to have, once Fail Bot's moderation capabilities are tested that is.
The only drawback that I see is the fact your bot supports D2 only (haven't tried Starcraft yet, but will soon). So that brings me to suggestion SIX:
Get ALL CLIENTS supported ASAP.
(And what would you need to hash or connect using a 26 character Starcraft CD besides a 26 character SC CDKey??)
Edit: Took all of five minutes to type think this out. If you need any clarification, just ask.
