I am aware the passwords are hashed. I knew they couldn't get the plaintext password, as its not sent in plaintext :\

Joel, the reps do not have access to the plain text password - only access to the MD5 hashed password.

That is what would have been cracked, hence a longer stronger password helping.

As for passwords, I have NEVER EVER used the same password more then 3 times (~270 days).

Cracking a battle.net password greater than 2 characters that contains alphanumeric characters: Considering that this "might" be easy, its not. You would need a barrage of cd-keys, plus proxies.

Not going to happen. The rep that gave away the password was just simply a retard.

I'm glad we changed the clan name anyway. This one is utter pricelessness

New moral of the story: Don't hack Mike's accounts or he changes the password to something that would take months to crack and that he will never remeber

Moral of the problem: Don't trust Mike to change the password.

Sorry I went down. Had internet problems with a cracker-jack-licensed driver hitting my internet pole (about 8 of them fell) and drooping my phone and electricity. Sorry ><

Since we lost the password to the chieftain, Mike and myself decided to remake the clan. The clan has been changed to Clan CODE @ useast, which, as far as I can say so myself is the best battle.net clan name EVER.

We will decide if we should keep the same shamans, or not. Post here with any comments or questions you may have.
